The Idea Caravan: Dr. Ganesh Rakh Pune Based Doctor Special Services To Womens

Girls are more dramatic, they fight with their best friend every other day, but if if you ask to boys/men, girls are proved to be the better friends than Boys. It is already known. If you have any problem go to your mom, She will listen to you, doesn't matter what time it is where she is, Moms alws love their kids. No one in the world with whom you can compare your mom.
In our daily hectic scheduled life, if your wife is house wife or working she balance everything no matter office or home.
In short, without girls there won't be any life.  The men are always seeking from women a little pillow to put their heads down on. One day these little angles become mothers and take care of us, men are always longing for the mother who held them as infants. If they are so important then why still Female Foeticide "A Death Before Birth" exists in our society. Why it has been a practice for hundreds of years. Sadly, there have been numerous incidents of the fetus being found lying in farms, floating in rivers, wrapped up in jute bags etc.

It has been six long decades since India gained independence but many Indians are still trapped in age-old traditional beliefs. Here, ‘old beliefs’ imply the mindset of people who still find themselves in the trap of girl-boy inequality. The ‘liberal’ Indian society has failed to transform the other orthodox India.

  • Narrow-minded people do not mind murdering their unborn daughters for the fear of giving huge amounts of dowry at the time of her marriage.
  • Light the funeral pyre and be the bread earner of the family.

Female foeticide is not only common in rural areas where social discrimination against women, lack of proper education. We have to come forward and do some action. I really inspired with the story of Dr. Ganesh Rakh, running Medicare Hospital Foundation Trust in the Hadapsar suburb of Pune in India, does not charge any fees if the infant delivered is a girl. The initiative was launched on the occasion of Savitribai Phule birth anniversary on January 3, 2012. Till date in over 144 deliveries, both normal and caesarian, maternity charges were not only waived off but the entire hospital celebrates the birth of the girl child by distributing sweets in the hospital.

Family members cry in the hospital after hearing the news of the birth of a baby girl. Then they start arguing among themselves over the footing of the hospitalization and medicines bills. Which is very painful. Dr. Rakh decided to give it a full stop and decided to not charge any fees for the girl child’s birth in  hospital. Dr Rakh's father was a labourer at Market Yard, Pune and did not have money for his education, he did well in studies and supported it through government scholarships. Thus,  completed his post graduation in medicine. He wanted to give back in some ways to society in a bid to help the poorer sections of society, so in 2007 set up a 25-bed Medicare General and Maternity Hospital. Initially he received a luke-warm response from his gynecologists and pediatricians, now hospital  bears the expenses of neo-natal care.

Franklin Templeton Investments partnered the TEDxGateway Mumbai in December 2012.

The matter was discussed in length and breadth in the inaugural episode of the show ‘Satyamave Jayate’ anchored by Bollywood actor Aamir Khan.  Although the show is doing really well and has already garnered positive reviews from the audiences. Still lots need to be done.We need men Like Dr. Rakh.
Now many other doctors are getting inspired with Dr Rakh and taking initiative towards the same.
